Google API Search Block allows you to search Google through its SOAP API - which means that your site more or less becomes a proxy for Google searchs. This block allows you to search Google through its SOAP API - which means that your site more or less becomes a proxy for Google searchs. Note that this is different than the Google search block that works by making the user's browser fetch the Google query - in this case, the server is fetching the query. The code could be modified quite easily to run on any web site (that is, non-PHPnuke sites) as well.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
